How to care for your linen

How to care for your linen

Linen is made to be used. And the good thing is, it gets softer and better with time.

Our napkins are made from 100% linen and can be washed at 40°C. Wash with similar colours and avoid bleach.

We recommend air drying rather than tumble drying. Give the napkins a good shake when they come out of the washing machine and smooth them out before hanging them to dry.

Ironing

For the crisp look we love, iron your napkins while they are still slightly damp.

The embroidery is made with rayon thread, which is more sensitive to heat than linen. Avoid ironing directly over the embroidery at full heat. Use a lower temperature around the embroidered area and take a little extra care.

The linen itself can handle more heat, but the embroidery prefers a gentler approach.

Stains

Dinner happens. Wine gets spilled, butter ends up where it shouldn't, and that is exactly what table linen is for.

Treat stains as soon as possible. For stubborn stains, we recommend gently treating the area with gall soap before washing. Avoid bleach and take extra care around the embroidery.

Made to be used again and again

Good linen doesn't need to be saved for special occasions. Use it, wash it, iron it and bring it back to the table.

That's the whole idea.
