LINNAIS is a Helsinki-based linen brand making personalised pieces for the table and home.

We’re starting with linen napkins, made from 100% linen in Lithuania and embroidered to order in Helsinki. You choose the linen, the embroidery colour and the personalisation, and we make them for you.

The idea behind LINNAIS is simple. Beautiful things should be used.

For dinner with friends, a regular Tuesday, Christmas, birthdays and everything in between. Linen is made to be washed and used again, and we want to make pieces that become part of your home for years.

The name LINNAIS

LINNAIS takes its name from Villa Linnais, an old summer villa in Ingå, a small seaside village in Finland.

The house has been in our founder Lina’s family since the 1950s, and she spent many of her childhood summers there.

Villa Linnais is a place filled with colour, flowers, long dinners and beautifully set tables. Lina’s grandmother Maud was the lady of the house when she was growing up and had a particular eye for making her surroundings beautiful.

When it came time to name the brand, Lina kept coming back to the house.

So, LINNAIS it was.

We work with high quality 100% linen made in Lithuania and personalise every order with embroidery in Helsinki.

Each piece is made to order, rather than embroidered in large quantities in advance. It means you get to choose the combination that feels like yours.
